Good to know
The Festival de Cannes runs from 11 to 22 May 2027. The coast is at its most lively, and the best hotels and tables are reserved well ahead. The Monaco E-Prix takes place on 1 and 2 May. The Formula 1 Grand Prix falls on 6 June, after your journey.
In May the Luberon is green and the vineyards are in leaf. The lavender fields bloom from mid-June, so this journey favours villages, estates and tables over the purple fields.
Each experience lists what is included. Meals, drinks and personal expenses are settled on site, unless listed as included.
Ascension Thursday falls on 6 May and Pentecost on 16 and 17 May. Some coastal hotels open for the season in spring: dates are confirmed with each house when we reserve.
